Live Training FAQ
When is the next Matchmaker Academy Bootcamp?
The next Matchmaker Academy Bootcamp will be held on Wednesday 22nd – Thursday 23rd November 2017 in London.
I have an idea for a matchmaking business but I haven’t started yet, will the training be too advanced?
Here’s what Caroline says:
“If I could have completed matchmaker training before setting up Mutual Attraction I would have probably saved myself 12 months of serious graft and spent far less money on things that didn’t matter. Hindsight, knowledge and experience is an amazing thing!”
Matchmaker Academy training programmes are perfect for those with an idea or who are just starting out in matchmaking. If you haven’t yet started you’ll be able to overcome common barriers before you hit them. Check out our online matchmaker training if you would like to get started right away.
I already have a brand and business, is the programme still right for me?
Absolutely! Whilst we do cover launching your matchmaking business, we spend a lot of time focussing on building and growing your matchmaking business.
How big will the training group be?
We want each and every participant to get the most out of the training which is why we only have small groups of no more than 6 people at our live bootcamps. For the online training you’ll be working independently….with our support of course!
How much does it cost?
The online training & certification costs £1.850. The live bootcamp vary so please contact us for up to date pricing, but it is typically between £2,500 – £3,000.
I’ve paid the deposit but can no longer attend, what should I do?
Your deposit will reserve your spot on the course and is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend please contact us straight away.
There are certain things I’d like covering on the training, can I make suggestions?
Absolutely, we want to tailor the training as much as possible to our participants. Before the course begins we’ll send you a questionnaire where you will have the opportunity to comment on any key areas you would like covered. We can’t promise we can cover it but we’ll do our best!
Will I be able to say I am a Trained Matchmaker?
Yes! You’ll also be given a badge to display on your website and in your promotional materials. You will also be listed as a ‘graduate’ on the Matchmaker Academy website as a certified matchmaker.
With so many unreputable dating agencies setting up, more and more people are looking for assurances in the matchmaker they choose with the important and confidential task of helping them find love. A trained and accredited matchmaker will always be more desirable than someone without any formal training in the subject.
What will I need to bring with me on the day if i’m attending a live training?
Before the course we will send you an information pack with everything you need to know about the training days themselves but in a nutshell all you need to bring is yourself and a business card (if you have one!).
Who will be leading the training?
Your trainer and mentor will be Caroline Brealey. Caroline won ‘International Best Matchmaker’ at the idate awards in 2014 and the ‘UK Matchmaker of the Year’ at the UK Dating awards 2014. She runs a successful London dating agency Mutual Attraction and was the head judge at the 2017 UK, European Dating Awards. She was also a finalist in the ‘Great British Entrepreneur’ awards. Caroline is a hands on matchmaker and loves supporting new matchmakers starting out in the industry. You can find out more about Caroline here.
